Open House to Show Support for the Lochaber Community Renewal Project

Posted by | September 30, 2011

There will be an open house at the Sylvan Hall every Saturday in October from 10:00 AM to noon. The purpose of these gathering is to give you a chance to learn more about the project to replace the existing Sylvan Hall and upgrade the outside facilities, and to pledge your financial support for this effort.

Aside from your financial contributions, your thoughts on the project are welcomed. There will be members of the fundraising and building committees on hand to answer any questions that you may have. They also want to hear your suggestions on ways to raise additional funds, and on features that you would like to see incorporated into the facilities. For those of you who attended the Sept 20th meeting at the hall, you are well aware of the excellent presentation that the fundraising committee presented at that time. This presentation will be available for individual viewing and discussion at these gatherings.

So, please come join us for a cup of Java and a chin wag about what is probably the largest community project we have ever undertaken.
