The local low bush “wild” blueberry harvest is underway, which means that the annual Lochaber Blueberry Festival is just around the corner. More specifically, it will take place at the Lochaber Centre, 1555 Highway #7, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm this coming Sunday, August 28th. Below is a flyer describing the event.
As always there will be a wide variety of wonderful desserts prepared by the folks of Lochaber who certainly know how to do some pretty special things with blueberries. For $6.00 ($3.00 for children under the age of 12), you get a serving of the dessert of your choice and a beverage.
