The 85th anniversary of Lochaber United Church will be celebrated at the church on Sunday, October 16th, at 10:00 am. The celebration is a combined service of Forbes Memorial Pastoral Charge (Kings United, Loch Katrine and Lochaber United). The sevice will be led by Rev. Meredith Marple, with guest minister Rev. Doug Stewart.
Doug grew up in Lochaber, and in 2015 retired and moved home to Antigonish. He is currently a supervising minister within Pictou Presbytery and serves as a Chaplain for St. Martha’s Regional Hospital.
All are welcome to attend the 85th anniversary celebration. A reception will follow after the service.
