Debra Archibald has very kindly offered to put on more of her popular yoga sessions at Sylvan Hall again this summer.
All forms of Yoga can be described as yin or yang depending on which tissues of the body they target. Yoga poses that focus on exercising muscle and moving blood are yang. When the focus is on the connective tissue that is yin. Debra’s classes will include a mix of yin and yang which works to improve flexibility and circulation. You may be very pleasantly surprised to learn how these movements can help with back and neck aches, arthritis and circulation!
Everyone, men and women, young and old, experienced or not, is welcome . Please bring a yoga mat (if you have one), blanket and a small cushion. We will be asking for a minimum donation of $5.00 per session that you attend, and all funds raised will go toward our new Lochaber Centre! Sessions will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM at Sylvan Hall, starting on Tuesday, July 23rd, and running through Thursday, August 15th. Each session lasts from one to one and a half hours and participants are asked to arrive at the hall about 15 minutes before the session begins.
Come join us and (if you haven’t already) discover what yoga can do for you! Here’s hoping to see you there.
